Spartans Womens Basketball demolish San Bernardino

Last Wednesday, MiraCosta College Women’s Basketball shut down San Bernardino, earning their second win in the 2017, Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. The Spartans averaged a 40 point lead throughout the game and finished 104-51. This is the eighth win for the Spartans, putting them at 8-12 for the season. MCC will face off against the Palomar College Comets on Feb. 1, in their fourth conference game at 6 p.m. in Palomar’s home court. 

Academic Senate to vote on Associate Faculty voting rights

On Feb. 3, the Academic Senate will vote a bylaws change that would give all associate faculty a full vote on the senate’s president and vice presidential election. In December, the Academic Senate approved a motion regarding the voting rights of Associate Faculty. Directing student theater with Eric Bishop

During a sit down with Eric Bishop, theater department faculty member and director of many campus productions, I got a glimpse at the opposite side of the stage. I got to see the director’s side. The passion runs deeper for a director than one would see from the outside.
